There are many factors to be successful when running a blog or website and often times you will see or hear great disputes regarding different factors involving running a successful website. From social media to search engine optimization and link building there is no shortage of topics or opinions to debate regarding what webmasters and bloggers need to to to create success online. There are two things that are rarely disputed regarding this success:
Content Is King - Writing great articles or sharing great information that makes people want to keep coming back and sharing your website is critical to your success.
On Page Optimization - Having your website setup with the correct structure and formatting including your articles is a critical element to being successful, especially in the eyes of search engines such as Google.
When I first started a website I just started throwing up pages with no regard to any of these factors and it quickly failed. After my failure I started researching search engine optimization (seo) and learned a significant amount about on page optimization and implemented these steps quickly. Much to my surprise after significant time and effort I continued to receive little to no traffic from search engines, even after completing on page and off page optimization. One day I stumbled across the Scribe SEO Content Optimizer plugin for WordPress and decided to check it out.
I used the free trial for seven free evaluations on old articles that I "thought" had been well written and included the on page optimization factors correctly. Scribe SEO Tools Content Optimizer runs inside WordPress and quickly comes back with a score telling me what is wrong with my article and walks me step by step through the process of correcting these issues and I make these changes, again analyzing the article. Finally after making significant changes I receive a 100% score from the Scribe plugin and republish my new revised article. Seven days later I am on page one of Google for the exact same article for my targeted keyword. I repeated this process with poor performing pages and each and every one of my pages improved after optimization, all thanks to the Scribe plugin helping me each and every step of the way. Scribe breaks down each article when you tell it to and provides you with a score based on your on page optimization and then returns with a number of factors including:
- Keyword
- Titles
- Links
- Content
Once the process is complete you make revisions, analyze again and then publish your article. This is an absolutely amazing piece of software and is an essential tool in the arsenal of my online business. You should definitely check out my in depth review of the Scribe SEO Tools and at least give the free trial a test drive and see how it improves your articles and on page optimization. if you get half the benefit from it that I did you will be blown away! It can definitely ramp up your blogging SEO efforts.
